Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments (HADYEK) was established within the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TÜBİTAK) to ensure the supervision and documentation of all animal experiments carried out within the institution, as well as to monitor the process of using appropriate species, quality, and number of experimental animals in accordance with ethical standards.
For Ethics Committee Applications;
- For research projects requiring the use of experimental animals, researchers applying for research support from any institution or organization must submit their projects to the TÜBİTAK Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments no later than 20 days before the deadline set by the relevant institution.
- The appropriate forms should be filled out in duplicate and submitted to the TÜBİTAK Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments Secretariat with a cover letter addressed to the Chairman of the TÜBİTAK Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments. The secretariat of the TÜBİTAK Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments is managed by the TÜBİTAK MAM Vice Presidency of Life Sciences.
